Hiding
Your laugh some how seems to make my day
I want to tell you what it means to me
And how I want to work at putting a smile on your face
But thats just one of the many things I can’t say
Because its not really my place here
But with the grazing of your skin against mine
I want to get lost in you, to be entwined
But i need to stop, I want it to be clear
It cant happen this way, but there you go
The smell of your hair, not so far away
It smells so sweet, but I can’t tell you
It wouldnt be right for you or anyone else to know.

You started following me on twitter, and I adore the whole coffee theme. I too do my best writing with a hot cup of coffee in my hands. Thought I’d check out your blog.
Awesome poem that I can relate to. It’s just not fair when you can’t tell someone how you feel.

A delightful read… and brought back memories of shy moments. But you’ve conveyed a real sense of loyalty and self restraint as well. Perhaps the person adored from afar is a friend’s lover.

Whoa…LOVE IT! I can so relate to this write, this feeling! Restraint is not an easy thing, but when one struggles with the self on the daily, it’s bound to make a person stronger. Your pen rocks my friend. Thanks for the follow on Twitter. Glad I got a chance to read and will be back alot.
