Distance
So many miles between, but I feel this mix within
I feel alone without you, but safe by your voice
So I’ll lie here with thoughts of you in my head
Wondering if your thinking of me, as you lie in bed
Waiting for sparks to fly when our lips first meet
Its already so young, but I’m diving straight in
Because once in a lifetime, someone will come along
They make you understand, why all before were wrong
Should things not turn out, no doubt it’ll be hard
It’ll be picking up pieces, like any time before
And worst of all for anyone else to follow
Because next to you, they’ll be dull and hollow
But I cant begin to think that way, it hurts to much
So for now I’ll close my eyes, and drift to sleep
With dreams of waking up to your touch against me
Falling even deeper, holding on, until we finally meet
